Maybe, but I got your point anyway, and I do agree with it! It's just that I live in a suburb which has a long history of traffic stops interacting with the whole "driving while black" problem, so I get touchy! No harm no foul.

But I'm not sure civil rights activists would agree entirely with you that it is "sad" news that traffic stops are way down - I do recall that people of color are disproportionately pulled over for such stops. Trade-offs, trade-offs! Why can't everything be 100% bad or 100% good? (grin)
